Set in the beautiful and historic town of Deal on the East Kent coast, Hope & Lane is a warm and welcoming, independent coffee shop serving great coffee and artisan snacks, seven days a week.

Organic and delicious

Our coffee is grown slowly in shade in the fertile volcanic soil of Papua New Guinea. The coffee cherries are also left longer to mature on the plant, Combined, this helps to develop complex flavours  in the coffee with an overall sweet, fruity coffee with notes of jasmine.

We also have teas, fruit infusions and soft drinks and a range of sweet and savoury options to suit different tastes and diets including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Free plant milk alternatives

And all drinks are available with a plant-based milk. Choose from soya, almond, coconut and oat milk for a plant-based alternative to dairy and vegan option.

Plastic free

We are completely plastic free at Hope & Lane. We’ve ditched all single-use plastic in favour of environmentally friendly alternatives

You’ll find us on the High Street, tucked in between its many wonderful independent shops, opposite St. George’s, a grade II listed church of the 1700s.
